Paul Williams was a long-time friend of our father and author of the 1974
Rolling Stone interview that was a milestone in our father achieving the
mainstream recognition he so craved. After our father passed away in 1982,
Paul was instrumental in nurturing our father's legacy as literary executor.
For the first eleven years after our father's death, Paul spear-headed
publication of our father's never before published realist novels. During
this time he also created and edited the Philip K. Dick Society Newsletter.
Paul was severely injured in a bicycle accident a number of years ago. This
accident has caused him to suffer from early onset of dementia, and a steady
decline to the point where he now requires full-time care. The burden on
his immediate family has been immense.
We hope that you will take a minute to look at our good friend Paul
Williams' website at http://willamato.com/posting/paulwilliams.
Thank you from Laura, Isa and Christopher.
